    Event description

After a long much needed break, we are having our final farewell feast and last hurrah long lunch in Bilpin, imagine your favourite old Lyttleton produce farm to table style feast with music and a bar, plus a farm tour.

After all of our hard work to sell everything and pay off all of our suppliers and basically self liquidate to pay off all final costs, we have one last tax bill we need to knock off. This is a much needed final fundraiser where you get the farm feast of your dreams and a chance to have a last catch up with our beloved community.

Lunch will include a Jacinta special gorgeous grazing table, followed by an epic share platter family style long lunch in our new event space at Bilpin Springs Farm Barn which is set on the banks of two beautiful spring fed dams sitting among the fields of the farm. Then we will have a walk and talk and come back for some delicious dessert with more music and wind up.

Produce will be grown by our ol' favourites including Aaron's veggies grown just down the road at Harvest Farms and new mates Ned and Bani at Bilpin Springs Farm. If you've ever wanted to come to one of our long lunches this is your chance! It will be a feast to remember and a beautiful opportunity to check out the new and exciting projects happening on the other side of our hill over on the Bells Line of Road.

Bilpin Springs Farm is a regenerative agriculture farm working closely with Aaron at Harvest Farms down the road. 50 acres of mixed production farm operating on Dharug land. Their guiding principle is to create a closed loop farm minimising external inputs. By utilising the animals and inform compost for fertility as well as good management practices, they aim to create a resilient landscape that is best positioned to thrive into the future. With an emphasis on biodiversity, water management and the importance of trees within agriculture guides their farming practice resulting in nutrient dense and delicious produce. The Barn is now fit out and ready to host events and weddings and this lunch will be a launch of the space to herald the future and say adieu to the past.

Come along and enjoy a day unlike any other and bring friends! Tickets include all food and music as well as the farm tour, drinks will be available to purchase on the day at our bar, think local and organic wines, ciders, beers and even a few sneaky cocktails and mocktails!
