M.DF DESIGNING FOR THE FUTURE #2

This is the second in our series of presentations by graduates of the RMIT Master of Design Futures (M.DF) showcasing capstone research projects. The event includes a discussion on emerging areas of design and practice.

Social, cultural, political, and professional structures are in need of new ways of thinking and approaching the issues that confront them. We require design leaders, design strategists, and design thinkers who can dissect and dismantle these structures. The Master of Design Futures (M.DF) is an accelerated, graduate qualification for working professionals who want to transition into new design practices or advance their careers in strategic leadership roles.

M.DF culminates in a capstone research project where students consolidate their research and learning over the 2-year program and their enhanced design practice. The Designing for the Future presentation is an opportunity to engage with recent graduates and emerging design leaders about their capstone projects and what this means for the future of design. Each presenter will give a short presentation on their project before a facilitated Q&A.
