The Master of Design Futures has a strong lean towards Transformative Design — using design as the method and driver of change. As social and economic conventions fragment, we're exploring a resurgence of networks as social and economic infrastructure, and how to lead them.

Network leadership works differently to normal leadership. Leaders watch for small, early signals that hint at change before it's obvious, then act on what they notice. Networks run on trust and relationships. Because leadership is distributed across the network, it moves to whoever knows the most about a problem at that moment — which only works if people feel safe stepping up. All of this takes attention and practice.

In this session, our panel will draw on their own experiences and reflections to help shape the Leading Circles conversation around network leadership.
