Mabon Dance

Join us for another beautiful Wheel of the Year Celebration, Mabon Dance! Mabon is a harvest festival of The Wheel of the Year, known as "the second harvest" and a day we like to consider as "The Witch's Thanksgiving."

Traditionally, it is celebrated on the Autumnal Equinox. It is a day to harvest what we've been sowing and give thanks for the abundance and beauty this earth gives us. It is a time we celebrate the yin and yang of light, knowing we are about to embark into days with less light and more night.

• While we celebrate not on the actual equinox, our celebration will be a steadfast anchor in our respective equinox celebrations.

We are stoked to host Mabon Dance at the tail end of Wellness Fest NJ -- a dayfest here in Rancocas Woods full of workshops, healing experiences, music, art, nature, and more.

Join us for the Fest or just come dance... either way, we are so blessed to offer another dance to celebrate the cycles of nature as we deepen our connection with the earth, our ancestors, and our community.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

SOULMATIC WARM UP WITH GINA and SIMCHA

ECSTATIC DANCE WITH DJ SHOUK

Shouk is a massage therapist/wellness practitioner by day and a DJ / Producer by night from Philadelphia. She DJ's at a wide variety of events ranging from house music at warehouse parties to ecstatic dance and downtempo for yoga events. She produces ambient music with the intent of healing and an extension of her healing modalities.

"Shouk" is an Armenian word that describes the bright rays of the sun as well as the shadows it casts, reminding us that all shadows have light behind them. Day or night her goal is to amplify the golden frequency of healing joy and sending it to all the dark corners of our being and universe.
