MAC Museum Apple History Exploration
Event description
Explore the history of Apple through hands-on displays of vintage and retro computing exhibits.
At MAC Museum you can take an interactive tour of discovery – or re-discovery – through over 40 years of Apple computers and history.
From Apple II series, Apple III, and early Macintosh, through Quadras, LCs, and Power Macintosh and, marking the era of Steve Jobs’ return, the colourful iMacs – they’re at MAC Museum.
Newtons and even a rare Macintosh TV never released in Australia are on display. You’ll also find a pristine example of the unique Power Mac G4 Cube, a compact version of the Power Mac G4 tower.
There’s a wall of software, including many games that have delighted millions – including Lemmings, Monkey Island and Flight Simulator. If you find a game you want to play, give it a go – MAC Museum is an interactive experience.
Many of the exhibits are fully functional and you are welcome to sit down and use them.
