Mackerel Ladies Blue Mountain Weekend Away - March 2027

Welcome everyone to the inaugural Mackerel Ladies Annual Weekend Away. 💃💃

After many years of friendship, laughter, support and shared memories, it feels very special to be creating what we hope will become a beautiful annual tradition.

From Friday 19 March to Sunday 21 March 2027, we will escape together to the stunning Victoria and Albert Guesthouse in the Blue Mountains. This beautiful heritage property has been booked exclusively for our group, giving us the chance to relax, reconnect and simply enjoy each other’s company in a setting filled with warmth, character and soul.

Friday afternoon will be all about arriving, settling in and soaking up the peaceful surrounds before gathering for a delicious three course dinner in our private dining room. The evening will continue beside the fire with good conversation, plenty of laughter and perhaps a glass of wine or two.

Saturday offers the freedom to enjoy the weekend your way. Wander through the charming village of Leura, explore the local shops and gardens, enjoy a leisurely walk through the mountains, or for those seeking a quieter afternoon, settle into a movie at the delightful Mount Victoria cinema right next door to our accommodation.

On Saturday evening we will come together for a Murder Mystery Night, guaranteed to deliver plenty of laughs, questionable detective skills and memories that will be talked about for years to come.

Sunday morning will see us heading to Blackheath for a final wander through the antique stores and village shops followed by a long lunch before making our way home feeling refreshed, connected and grateful for time spent together.

This weekend is not about doing more. It is about slowing down, being present and celebrating friendship and the magic of mackerel.
