Event description

Macrame is a craft using knots and weaves to make beautiful homewares, clothing and more. Its origins are a bit unsure, some dating it back to the 13th century in Arabia using knot patterns to decorate textiles and others tracing it back to Babylonian times.

It's a very relaxing and fun hobby and can be done without expensive equipment.

In this class we'll learn basic knots while making a fun rainbow or geometric or serpentine (we couldn't decide!) plant hanger We'll have lots of colours to choose from and the pattern has been designed with beginners in mind.

Join us and start your magical macrame journey!
