Macrame Wrist Daisy Keychain with Maria
Event description
Macrame is an ancient art used in Arab countries to weave fabrics, create decorations and so much more. With a few simple knots you can create stunning (and very useful) designs.
Come and learn macrame basics while making a daisy chain strap which can be used as a wristlet for your phone, keyring, belt, headband... why not!
This sweet pattern is perfect for beginners and we'll have lots of colours to choose from.
What will we cover?
In this class you will learn:
- How to start with macrame: cutting rope, what materials are best to use
- How to do square knots, Lark's head knot, single and double hitch
- How to add beads amongst knots
- Special considerations, and other insider tips and tricks

Who will be Teaching?
Maria (she/her) is a serial crafter. She loves learning about new crafts and techniques! She does crochet, macrame, sewing, pottery, weaving and likes to explore how these crafts can be combined and expanded.Â
