Come and play, express and discover abandon around a table set for tea, many hats, and your weird and wonderful heart!
This is your invitation to dig deeply into your most quirky self. Visit the op shop. Raid your wardrobe of all the things you haven't worn worn (lately) into society because it felt too delicious, too dramatic, too demanding of attention.
Now is the time.
Be radical.
And if you already live wildly and colourfully… how much more can you let yourself unravel out of the corset (or maybe further into a corset!) and into the curious unknown of madness?

WHAT TO EXPECT
An immersive Mad Hatters-inspired evening centred around connection, expression, conversation, movement, and play.
Expect a beautifully styled tea-party atmosphere with long tables, candles, teapots, layered textures, mismatched cups and saucers, strange little details, and a room full of curious humans dressed in deliciously expressive costumes.
Throughout the afternoon and evening -
• Breath and embodiment practices to help people soften and arrive
• Guided connection games and playful interactions
• Conversation prompts
• Opportunities to move seats and mingle throughout the evening
• Music, movement, and dancing to finish the night
What we wear is never just what we wear.
Adornment, costume, texture, colour, performance, play. It all becomes language.
A remembering.

This evening invites people to step beyond social conditioning and into embodiment, curiosity, creativity, and authentic interaction through play.
Everything THE EMBODIED SPACE creates is centred around connection: to ourselves, to the earth, and to one another. This experience is an invitation to explore self-expression as a form of connection.

It is our deepest desire to create to create a wonderland where people can come together to connect, play, laugh, express themselves, and simply be.
We’ve done our best to offer a range of ticket options so that as many people can join us, while also creating an event that is sustainable enough to keep bringing these kinds of experiences to life.
Purchase what feels most right and accessable to you and the magic of balance will work itself out! We believe there’s a little curiosity, creativity, whimsy, and wonderful madness living inside all of us and as such don't want anyone to miss out. If the options available are still inaccessible to you, please reach out.
Having spaces where we can explore those parts of ourselves together matters. Sometimes all we need is a beautifully set table, a ridiculous hat, a warm cup of tea, and a room full of humans willing to say yes to wonder.
All roads lead to Wonderland… they just don’t all begin in the same place.

- Why Mad Hatters Tea Party?
We all need a place to play. To enjoy ourselves, to be kids, colourful, creative, to dress up and let our inmaginations run wild.
This will an immersive, connection-based afternoon inspired by the whimsical world of Wonderland.
Playful costumes, tea, mystical food, guided connection experiences, movement, laughter, and a dance floor to weave it all together.
- Do I have to dress up!?
Hell yeah, haha! Its a costume party. This is your excuse to be playful with what you wear.
The more playful, colourful, quirky, or wonderfully “you” your outfit is, the more magical the experience becomes. The way we dress influences the way we feel. So find something that feels good to wear and also allows you to be playful and colourful in your own way. Or something that makes you feel a little braver than usual.
There are won't prizes for the “best” costume. That's not the point.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about permission.
- I don't know anyone going, can I come on my own!?
Yah, do it!!
The point of any event The Embodied Space invites you to is connection. So even if you feel clunky...everything throughout tis intentionally designed to help people feel welcomed, included, and connected, so you won’t be left standing awkwardly wondering who to talk to.
- Can I come with friends!?
Absolutely.
Bring whoever your heart feels playful with. There are ticket options structured in such a way that you can buy group tickets and skip the booking fees, so check those options out!
To encourage new connections, we’ll be mixing seating and inviting guests to meet different people throughout so you might even leave with new mates.
- Will I have to participate in everything?
Participation is always an invitation, never an obligation.
However we def encourage you to lean into the experience with curiosity; always welcome to honour your own boundaries and participate in a way that feels enlivening to you.
- What about food and drink!?
Tickets include a whimsical afternoon sweet and savoury delights, tea, and a few delicious surprises inspired by the Mad Hatters table. It'll be enough to head home with a full belly.

Teas, kombucha and juices will be flowing throughout the afternoon.
THE VENUE IS STRICTLY ALCOHOL FREE, which is perfect for us and our philosophy of intentional connection and presence.
- Will there be dancing!?
Oh yes there will be! How could there not be!? One of the most playful ways of being human, is to dance!
We'll transform from a whimsical tea party into a joyful dance floor.
And so you are def INVITED to dance as part of the play and self expression. Find your edge, dance in a way that feels comfortable and whimsical!
- What if dressing up or meeting new people feels outside my comfort zone but I kinda still wanna come!??
That’s completely okay.
This event isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about giving yourself permission to express a little more of who you already are.
Whether that means wearing a bright hat, starting a conversation with a stranger, stepping onto the dance floor, or simply saying yes to something new, you’re invited to meet yourself with curiosity rather than pressure.

- Why are the tickets priced this way?
This is more than an afternoon tea. Your ticket contributes to a thoughtfully curated experience that includes venue hire, food, styling, facilitators, music, materials, and all the little details that help create a space where genuine connection can flourish.
Our intention is to create something beautiful, memorable, SUSTAINABLE and deeply nourishing, while also making sure everyone involved in creating this magic is paid fairly.
- I can’t afford a ticket right now. Is there another option!?
If cost is the only thing preventing you from attending, please reach out. We have deliberated over how. tostructure tickets so theyre accessable, but if you need something different, give us a yell!
