Madeline’s journey is truly inspiring, and we can’t wait for you to hear her story!From Fashion to Adventure: Madeline's Journey Originally from Germany, Madeline made a bold decision in August 2022 to leave her career in fashion design and embark on a quest to discover her roots in Türkiye. This 15-month odyssey took her from Germany to Australia, equipped with nothing but a second-hand push bike for transport and a tent for shelter.Since returning to Sydney, Madeline has worked as a Operations Manager at a secondhand bike shop and bicycle recycler. She is dedicated to advocating for cycling and promoting the circular economy within the bike community. When she’s not working, you can find her venturing into the wilderness, pushing her limits and exploring the great outdoors.Discover the Munda Biddi Trail During her talk, Madeline will share her experiences cycling the Munda Biddi Trail, a stunning long-distance off-road track in Western Australia. Stretching over 1,000 kilometers, this trail offers breathtaking views of Western Australia’s pristine nature and is a dream for bike tourers.Whether you're an experienced bike adventurer or someone who has always wanted to set out on their own cycling journey but isn’t sure where to begin, this talk is for you! Madeline will provide valuable insights, tips, and inspiration to help you take the plunge into your own cycling adventure.
