MadeSC Quarterly Showing
Event description
MadeSC — Quarterly Artist Showing Â
Â
Join us for our quarterly MadeSC artist in residence showing. Â
Each quarter, you're invite to come and meet the artists, experience an early insight into the projects being developed, see what artists in the region have been working on, and connect with other creatives on the coast. Â
This quarter, down in Studio3, we have Wendy Mcphee, a contemporary performance artist, creator and educator. Her early development was stimulated by impromptu backyard performances and raucous Tupperware parties.Â
Also in Studio3, we'll also have Project Auske, in the early stages of developing two new works. Bridget Fiske and Joseph Lau have developed Project Auske to empower themselves and others to make (possible and impossible) artistic work with a multiplicity of scope, meaning, and impact.
Up in the MakerSpace Blak Print Club is back as part of Munimba-ja's Blak Creatives program. Over the next three months participants will be developing new skills and works led by established First Nations print makers.
