After an incredible debut performance Tender Hooks ‘The Magic Of The Mundane’ returns to Byron Theatre for and ENCORE performance, Friday October 13th!

Experience "The Magic of the Mundane" – A Captivating Gig-Meets-Theatre Show Unveiling the Albums "Tender [A]" and "Hooks [B]" by MT WARNING.

Get ready to be swept away into a realm where the ordinary is the extraordinary as "The Magic of the Mundane" takes centre stage. This mesmerising portrayal of what it’s like to create music, will showcase the uplifting albums "Tender [A]" and "Hooks [B]" by MT WARNING featuring Mikey Bryant and Elodie Crowe (fresh off the back of their performance in New Blood The Musical at ByronTheatre/Adelaide Fringe).

Mikey Bryant
(AKA producer/songwriter MT WARNING) set out to find the joy in making music again after a considerable time avoiding creativity and life in general. But where to begin? What does that even look like? How do you find the muse?

Elodie Crowe
is a singer-songwriter, musician, vocal director and now seasoned thespian. She spent years recording and touring the world as part of the indie-pop band Tigertown and as the band came to an end, Elodie felt her time on the stage had also.

The pair met whilst doing Bangalow Theatre Company’s production of RENT. As Mikey was finalising his album, he invited Elodie to sing harmonies on the muse gifted songs and they began playing shows together under the MT WARNING name. Singing life into the tracks and dragging the vintage piano around the area to shows, a musical friendship and a hard earned creative chemistry was built. Between pub shows and festivals the friends were also part of the team that created and performed local theatre sensation New Blood The Musical.

Breaking from traditional gig offerings and after an exhilarating experience working in theatre, Mikey wanted to give a gift of the worlds that showed him how to find the joy in music again.

The evocative lyrics by Bryant, coupled with the powerful vocal harmonies by Crowe, will resonate deeply with audiences, while the enchanting compositions bring the music to life on stage.

"The Magic of the Mundane" breathes life into the heartfelt lyrics and soulful melodies of "Tender [A]" and "Hooks [B]." This seamless fusion of music, lo-fi dance, and physical theatre creates an immersive narrative that delves into the depths of humans creating and unveils the hidden magic within the mundane moments of life.

Tickets are now available for purchase at Byron Theatre. Don't miss your chance to experience the magic!
