I am passionate about two things - Art & Self Care.
ART - I am an eclectic artist teaching workshops to women who think they can't paint or draw. I teach a wide range of art media including acrylic paint pouring on canvas and pots, alcohol inks, whimsical acrylics on canvas and whimsical watercolours. However my favourites things to create are watercolour painted words & geometric mandalas & more recently Dot Mandalas.
I try to make it easy for my students to succeed. For example, if we are painting a donkey on canvas, the outline will be pre-traced & ready to paint. I always provide step by step guidance and the number of participants is limited to ensure personal assistance. I just love to see the look on my student's faces at the end of a session when they create something to be proud of, but at the end of the day, it's all about having fun rather than stressing about achieving a masterpiece.
SELF CARE - I have a number qualifications in this area including a Nutritional Medicine Degree, Mind, Body Nutrition Coach Certificate & Beautiful You Coach. I'm also proud to be am Ambassador for the Body Image Movement. I offer workshops that draw from these areas, eg Stress, Sleep, Immunity, Nutrition, Limiting Beliefs, Inner Critic & Gratitude. I often take the oportunity to include a short creative activity in my workshops. Creativity is a great way to include self care in our lives.
