October Magical Mystery History Tour
Event description
This tour will cover 7 - 8 sites starting at the Marine Beacon Lookout and will end at a mystery location approximately 95km from Ravensthorpe and 60km from Hopetoun.
Allow 5 - 6 hours to enjoy a relaxing day out, exploring and learning the significance of some very old and some quite modern sites within our district.
A catered lunch at Jerdacuttup Hall and morning tea at Riverside Cafe, Jerdacuttup River is included in the price of the ticket.
Patrons are asked to wear appropriate shoes/clothes for bush travel and bring their own water and morning tea.
WHAT TO BRING / WEAR
Dress for the conditions on the day,
(Hint - mystery location is on the coast), recommend enclosed walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, insect repellant, drinking water, camera, notebook and an inquiring mind.
Anyone with allergies should carry their medication on them at all times (eg Epi-pen, antihistamine, asthma medication)
Meet at 8.45am for 9.00am start at the Marine Beacon Lookout, Beacon Drive (1.5km north of Hopetoun roundabout)
Numbers are limited to 10 vehicles and 30 persons - registration is essential.
