Event description

Please join us for an afternoon of Mah Jongg and a tour of the Mazza Castle. 

Join us for this unique opportunity to play Mah Jongg in a beautiful historic venue in Pacifica.

Guests will enjoy a brief tour of this special 1908 home overlooking the Pacific Ocean and hear about its colorful past and characters. Coffee, tea, and soft drinks will be provided with light refreshments.

Then we will have time to play Mah Jongg in the beautiful parlor. Seating is very limited for this event, so please purchase your tickets now. You can bring your regular group to play or play with new friends.

All levels of Mah Jongg players are welcome. We will be hosting American-style mahjong games. All proceeds go to benefit the Sam Mazza Foundation.

Please Note:

  • This event is for adults only.
  • No outside food or drink, spiked heels, or pets are permitted.
  • The Castle is not wheelchair accessible, and Castle events require walking up and down some stairs.
  • The Castle is a non-smoking property.

Arriving to the Castle
900 Mirador Terrace in Pacifica’s Sharp Park

GPS navigation typically routes visitors up a very steep hill with poor traction. To avoid the hill on your approach to the Castle, follow these directions:

Highway 1 coming from the North

  1. EXIT Paloma Avenue.
  2. Make a LEFT on Paloma
  3. Make a RIGHT on Mirador Terrace.
  4. To avoid the steep hill, take an IMMEDIATE LEFT on Carmel Ave.
  5. Make a RIGHT on Vallejo Terrace and veer right onto San Pablo Terrace.

Limited parking is available on the street and in the parking lot on the right as you approach the Castle on San Pablo Terrace.

Highway 1 coming from the South

  1. EXIT Clarendon Road/Oceana Boulevard.
  2. Make a RIGHT at Paloma.
  3. Make a RIGHT on Mirador Terrace.
  4. To avoid the steep hill, take an IMMEDIATE LEFT on Carmel Ave.
  5. Make a RIGHT on Vallejo Terrace and veer RIGHT onto San Pablo Terrace.

Limited parking is available on the street and in the parking lot on the right as you approach the Castle on San Pablo Terrace.
