Maintaining a WordPress website | Webinar | Intermediate
Description
Your website was built, launched and then mostly left alone. That was fine a few years ago. It isn’t now.
In July 2026 the Australian Cyber Security Centre issued a critical alert after attackers broke into websites through out-of-date software and plugins, and many of the sites hit belonged to small and medium Australian businesses. Security researchers now see new WordPress flaws being attacked within hours of going public. WordPress itself shipped four security releases between July and September this year.
The good news? Most of the protection is free, and most of it can run on autopilot once it is set up properly.
This practical session walks you through what to switch on, what to check once a month, and what to hand to your web developer or host. No coding. No jargon you can’t use.
