    About us:
    The sunflower maze is a unique outdoor adventure and immersive experience at Majura Valley Free Range Eggs. We are located close to the heart of Canberra on the oldest working farm in the ACT, Majura House. At our farm gate, we have a beautiful little shop offering farm-direct produce and other local goods; you can see exactly where the food is from. We are a working farm, and as a condition of entry, the following rules must be followed; by purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following guide;

    What to bring:
    We recommend wearing closed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and a jacket for cooler days. We are a working farm, so be sensible and dress to impress (the cows).

    Access & Accessibility:
    Free access parking is available onsite; please follow signage and staff directions. DO NOT park on the roadside. The Sunflower Maze is wheelchair accessible, but the ground may be uneven, rocky, and wet, which could pose challenges. Get in touch with us if you or a group have unique requirements and to book a time that is outside peak periods.

    Stay in your paddock!
    We are a genuine farm, and there will be animals and exciting things to encounter. However, we kindly request all visitors to respect our sunflowers, fields, and farm. Please be mindful and considerate of other guests and stay in the designated area.

    Pick your own:
    Sunflowers are available for purchase at $3 per stem with a maximum of five stems per person (sharing is caring). Payment options include both cash and card facilities. Complimentary use of secateurs is also available on the day.

    Pollinators and petals:
    Please be aware that sunflowers can attract insects such as bees and wasps, which may be present during your session. If you have allergies, please take precautions when attending.

    Toilets will be on site for any bathroom needs.

    Food and Drink:
    Please bring your own water bottles. Drinking water will be available, but we aim to reduce waste and avoid plastic. Fresh local produce is found in the farm gate shop and the occasional food truck. Majura Park has a lot of options, and you can BYO.

    Rain or Shine, but probably not hail:
    Tom Barrett said if the rain spoils our picnic but saves a farmer's crop, who are we to say it shouldn't rain? Farming activities continue to rain or shine, but we'll reschedule or refund your booking for Sunflower Adventures in case of severe weather.

    Please leave your dog at home: Pets are not allowed in the maze for safety reasons and to preserve the flowers and our friendly farm animals. Only service dogs are permitted on the premises. Don't worry; you can give Peppa (our famous chicken protector) some love while you're here.
