Event description
Brought to you by Auckland Council Waste Solutions.
Build this convenient bedside bench and a breadboard out of upcycled timber! This bench can be used as a handy accent piece in an entryway, bedroom, plant stand, or side table. Imagine a nook to place your books or bedside items.
The breadboard will be a gift to a friend or whanau member.... or a gift to yourself.
Enjoy crafting and working with power tools sustainably to make something gorgeous and practical for your home!
There will be a health and safety briefing at the start of the workshop to inform participants of safety precautions before we begin using tools.
Tools that will be covered in this workshop are a jigsaw, power drill, and sander. All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!).
Some work may be outdoors, please wear clothes according to the weather.
