Event description

Join us for a creative 3-hour workshop where you'll craft your own Shiboridashi tea pot and cups, drawing inspiration from an ancient Japanese technique. This hands-on experience is perfect for beginners and includes all necessary tools and materials.

During this workshop, you will learn how to make a shiboridashi tea set including a teapot, a yuzamashi (cooler), two yunomis (cups) and a tray. Shiboridashi teapots are used in Japan to brew green tea.

These are unique pieces created by hand, using clay and following a process respectful with the environment.

You must be 16 years or older to attend, and class sizes are strictly limited

Date:Thursday 10 October

$165 for 3 hours

Includes clay, firing and glazing.
