Calling all young filmmakers! Do you have a great idea for a short film? Come along to Sydney Film School and turn that idea into a reality in just five days during our school holiday workshop!

This course will run over five days, from Monday, 13th January 2025 to Friday, 17th January 2025. Each day will go from 10am-5pm.

In this course you will learn how to develop a screenplay, plan a film, then shoot it yourself with real cameras and equipment. Then cut your movie together with professional editing software! At the end of the week it’s time to grab the popcorn as you watch your film on the big screen in our Screening Room!

For students who are passionate about film, television and online media
Young filmmakers who want to get involved in a variety of roles on set
Suitable for complete beginners, no previous experience is required
