Make Sense of Your Soil Test with Ed Scott - Mt Compass
Description
Soil tests can be confusing, but they don’t have to be. Join local soil guru Ed Scott as he walks you through what your soil test is really telling you and how to use that information to make better decisions on your farm.
Ed will cut through the jargon, explain what each test actually measures, and show you how to link your results to practical on‑farm actions.
You’ll learn about:
What the numbers on your soil test mean for your pasture, horticulture, or cropping system
Which tests matter most in the Hills/Fleurieu region
Simple, effective management practices for common soil issues
Bring your soil test along and ask as many questions as you like. After the main session, Ed will stick around for an extra hour to chat through individual results and help you troubleshoot any concerns.
Lunch will be provided.
