'Make' - the creative approach to sustainable fashion
Event description
Part informative and part practical, you will deepen your understanding on how our fashion choices have the power to create far more sustainable ways of living.
Let's face it, there's a good chance that if you are part of this festival you are also part of the 'converted' to sustainability, we don't really need to tell you the obvious anymore (but in this presentation - we still will), our fashion choices are killing the planet and exploiting 99% of the people in the supply chain - this includes you. So we want to give you a fresh, informative and creative perspective on what you can do as an individual or small group to get creative with positive change.
Were going to take you through ways to add some meaning, mending and re-purposing to your fashion choices. Join The Possibility Project and Re.lax Remade as we bring our creative perspective on ways individuals and small groups are changing the fashion landscape.Â
Part informative and part practical, you will deepen your understanding on how our fashion choices have the power to create far more sustainable ways of living. Learn the difference between fast fashion and slow fashion and be inspired to take a more creative approach to your wardrobe with some mending and repurposing examples. Suitable for everybody, also ideal for High school students who are studying sustainability. There will be an opportunity for Q&A on all your sustainable fashion questions.
