Event description
Learn family history research basics and make a unique piece of family art in this 3 hour face to face workshop. A personalised, laser cut and etched family tree.
Before the workshop
Download the pedigree chart here: https://research.kyliesgenes.c... and fill in as much information as you can. If you're from a non English speaking country it may be harder to find records of your ancestors depending on the availability of records and whether they are online or not.
If you bring all the information for your pedigree chart with you, you can create your one of a kind family tree and extend your knowledge of your ancestors.
IMPORTANT INFO
All sessions take place on-site at Makerspace Adelaide with direct instruction from an experienced instructor, cost is inclusive of all materials.
Places are limited and bookings are essential.
This workshop is best suited to age 10 and up
Participants are asked to bring their own laptop, pen and paper.
Moderate computer skills needed. Covered shoes must be worn.
