The City of PAE is excited to present its monthly workshop series titled Maker + Maker.

Maker + Maker offers a professional exchange of creative knowledge between an expert with individuals seeking new creative experiences. Focusing on the art of making, The City of PAE invites South Australia’s best makers to guide you in creating your own piece of art.

Step into a whimsical world of clay and creativity in this joyful, hands-on workshop with ceramic artist Naomi Nomespotter. Rooted in the slow, tactile art of hand-building, Naomi’s practice celebrates imagination, storytelling, and the quiet charm of expressive forms.

In this session, you’ll sculpt your own magical ceramic toadstools—each one a character with its own personality. Naomi will guide you through simple, intuitive techniques to help bring your creations to life. Whether destined for a garden nook, a plant pot, or your bookshelf, your toadstool will be a one-of-a-kind keepsake infused with playfulness and personal expression.

What to bring:
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy—clay washes out easily, but better safe than sorry.

What’s provided:
All basic tools and materials are supplied. Feel free to bring your own favourite tools if you have them.
