Maker & Smith are delighted to present the 2026 edition of the Makers’ Film Festival (MFF26) at Midland Junction Arts Centre.

Join us as we launch the International Lacemakers Conference with this short film festival showcasing craft – makers, making and materials selected from a worldwide call out.

The final set of films includes a wide variety of genres as well as craft practices and materials from fashion to bell-making, embroidered stop animation to ceramics, knitting, ai and green technologies, to name a few.
