MAKING HEADLINES : a conversation with the journalists behind Queensland’s biggest stories
Event description
What or who makes headlines?
Across sport, politics, business, and lifestyle – behind all big splashes and breaking news crosses – is a journalist or a team of them.
This June, the Kennedy Foundation, in partnership with Telum Media, will host an exclusive event with some of the most exciting names in Australian journalism. These Queensland news-breakers have told stories to fascinate, shock and delight – but certainly, all have piqued the public interest.
Join us as we meet four of the best in the business over a candid panel conversation covering their careers and the changing face of Brisbane at the impressive new Suncorp headquarters. The event will be an opportunity to learn about journalism techniques and careers from experts in TV, radio, print and digital journalism – but also a chance for media professionals in Queensland to network and meet peers across different beats and organisations.
We will provide food and refreshments, and there will be plenty of time for conversation before and after the evening's proceedings.
The Kennedy Foundation is proud to be a national foundation supporting journalism in all regions of Australia. We look forward to meeting you ahead of our annual Kennedy Awards, which are open for entry to journalists in all states of Australia.
Telum Media is Asia's, Australia's and New Zealand’s leading media intelligence platform - our media requests, news alerts and media database drive better engagement between PR professionals and journalists.
