Making Home: ARKit Factory Tour

Open House Melbourne presents Making Home, a series of talks and tours that helps public audiences better understand social and affordable housing.

Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour at ARKit’s Sunshine factory, where innovation meets impact. This special event brings together ARKit and community housing provider Haven Home Safe to showcase their collaborative effort to deliver 25 low-cost, sustainable and innovative affordable homes to Horsham, as part of Homes Victoria’s Big Housing Build. 

Gain firsthand insight into ARKit’s design-led, timber-based modular construction methods on a tour through a range of in-progress projects and hear how this approach can serve as a model for future developments, demonstrating the viability of prefabricated modular construction in addressing the housing needs of communities across Victoria.
