Virtual Panel - Making it in the Bush

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Make being located in regional NSW work in your favour!

Regional entrepreneurs can face different challenges to those located in larger metropolitan centres when developing and growing their startup. These can include distance to major city centres, accessing funding, sourcing talent and connecting with supportive communities who can assist them on building their business.

The Making it in the Bush session introduces founders proving that innovation knows no geographic boundaries.  Sharing personal journeys and insights, join us on Tuesday, 25 October at 1:00pm to learn how regional founders have overcome hurdles to become successful, harnessing these differences to bolster their creativity and innovation.

Key takeaways

This online session will discuss:

  • Barriers and challenges for regional startups
  • Getting your ideas off the ground
  • Support they received and where they got it
  • Lessons learnt
  • Plans for the future
