Description

Join Brook Konia (Ngāti Porou, Kōtimana, Pākehā) at the Corban Estate Arts Centre to learn the process of making muka, extracting soft fibre from the tī kōuka plant, cabbage tree as part of his exhibition Tūturu Kāenga at the Homestead Galleries.

Complimentary tī kōuka tea will be provided as manaakitanga also supporting the Auckland Heritage Festival theme 'Tastes of Tāmaki: A Heritage Feast' for 2026.
