Herbalist Pat Collins provides a wealth of knowledge about plants and their many uses. Join Pat, friends and neighbours in learning how to make natural soaps, shampoos and cleaning products with plants grown in the back yard. Learn how to make your own soaps from a basic recipe, with herbs, clays, natural colours, base oils, honey, essential oils and milk. During the workshop participants will also look at the ingredients in commercial bath products and learn how they affect our health. Create different soaps, shampoo and conditioner and lots more.
Enjoy morning and afternoon tea, lunch made with food grown organically at Kawalang.
