Event description

Learn to make poi with reclaimed t-shirts and wool stuffing off-cuts.

T-shirts are upcycled and reused in every step of the process in this workshop, from making the poi's braid and pompom, to wrapping the poi ball.

Every scrap of waste made during the poi making process is incorporated back into the poi. This is truly a zero waste class!

The end result is a strong poi that will be great to use.

Note : This is walk in event so you don't need to stay for whole event.

When: Wednesday 13 July, 10 am - 12 pm

Where: Te Atatu Peninsula Library, 595 Te Atatu Road, Te Atatu Peninsula, Auckland 0610.
