The webinar will also feature two compelling case studies from the SIMNA 2024 Award Finalists and Runners Up For-Purpose Evaluations and Fams: “Amplify the Sector" and Seer Data & Analytics, Future Generation Global (FGG) and Social Outcomes: “Future Generation Global Impact Measurement Initiative”. These real-world examples will showcase how organisations have successfully integrated SIM into their operations, making it a valuable and meaningful process.

Case study: For-Purpose Evaluations and Fams: “Amplify the Sector”, 2024 SIMNA Innovative Design in Social Impact Measurement Runner-up
The Amplify Project is a partnership between Fams and For-Purpose Evaluations (FPE) alongside twelve NGOs providing Targeted Early Intervention (TEI) programs from around NSW. Amplify supported a shift from a culture of compliance to a culture of outcomes curiosity across the TEI sector. Discover how the Amplify Project supported TEI providers to leverage existing contractually required data collection processes to measure and communicate outcomes.
Case study: Seer Data & Analytics, Future Generation Global (FGG) and Social Outcomes “Future Generation Global Impact Measurement Initiative”, 2024 SIMNA Excellence in Social Impact Measurement Finalist
Learn how this project is building an understanding of collective impact and supporting smaller organisations to conduct SIM in a way that is both meaningful and achievable. Future Generation Global (FGG) partnered with Seer Data to enable FGG and its partners to increase capability with data and outcomes and impact measurement, have a one-stop shop to report, retain, share and analyse data, aggregate and analyse data to create insights, see trends and identify opportunities and design, publish and share dashboards to tell their impact story.
About the speakers
Lisa Smajlov (Fams): Lisa has over 20 years’ experience in community engagement and grassroots projects, working to address the drivers of socio-economic disadvantage. She has a BA in Social Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Community & Welfare Development. She champions collaborative practice and capacity building across the sector. Lisa’s knowledge is honed across diverse experience in neighbourhood centres, local government, and non-government organisations where her work has focused on addressing the impacts of sexual, domestic, and family violence. Key skills include project management, partnership development, systems advocacy, and data analysis. She has a passion for amplifying the outcomes of children, young people, families, and communities.
Susan Watson (Fams): Susan is an outcomes-focused leader in the not-for-profit sector with decades of experience in both government and non-government organisations across New South Wales, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Known for her ability to drive impactful reform, she has successfully enhanced financial sustainability, improved governance, and fostered vibrant workforce cultures. Susan has a passion for blending data and storytelling to demonstrate impact. As the CEO of Fams, Susan champions the rights of children and young people to thrive in safe, strong, and supportive communities.
Shelley Boswell (Seer Data & Analytics): Shelley is Seer Data's Analyst Team leader with a background in impact measurement and business analytics. Shelley has successfully initiated and led a range of portfolio impact measurement and UMEL solutions for Seer Data's customers using the Seer Data platform including projects for Department of Social Services, Hand Heart Pocket and WAITOC.
