Event description
As the charity partner of this year's Sail Port Stephens, Making Waves Foundation is hosting a fun filled Layday Playday Lunch at Broughton's at the Bay on Thursday, 22 April.
Guests will experience a rewarding emotional rollercoaster at the lunch, playing Layday fun and games and listening first hand to heartwarming stories told by some of the extraordinary people who participate in the Making Waves sailing program.
The lunch includes a delicious 3 course lunch, games, entertainment, raffles and auctions.
Tickets are only $85 per person or $800 (ex gst) for a table of 10.
NOTE: If the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, ticket purchasers will be eligible for a refund.
Making Waves Foundation provides sailing and training programs for disabled and disadvantaged people and their carers. Their programs use sailing as a way to build confidence, self-esteem and new relationships. Through sailing, people start to forget about what they can't do and focus on what they can do.
