Event description

Mallee Harvest Festival
Proudly Supported by the Rotary Club of Loxton
Raising Funds for the Leukemia Foundation

Join us on Saturday, 8 February 2025, at the Alawoona Institute for the much-anticipated Mallee Harvest Festival. After the success of the 2023 event, which raised funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, we are excited to once again unite our community for a meaningful cause.

This year, we are proud to partner with the Rotary Club of Loxton and Shelley Garvie to support the Leukemia Foundation. Shelley’s inspiring journey with blood cancer has motivated us to focus on helping those in rural and remote areas access essential accommodation during treatment.

The evening promises an unforgettable experience with a three-course dinner, live entertainment, and a charity auction, all centered around the theme:
“Strengthening our community through connection and cultivating resilience.”

Highlights of the Event:

  • Pre-Dinner Nibbles
  • Main Course: Roast with fresh salads
  • Dessert Table
  • Live Entertainment: Performances by 5for Effect and DJ Luke
  • Live Charity Auction
  • BYO Drinks (no bar facilities)

Event Extras:

  • Bus Transport: Return trip between Loxton and Alawoona (limited seating available). Pickup at 5 PM in Loxton, return at midnight. Reserve your seat when purchasing your ticket. All proceeds for bus tickets go to Leukemia Foundation.
  • Free Non-Powered Camping: Perfect for campers, caravans, and swags. Email malleeharvestfest@outlook.com to inquire.  For those staying the night bacon and egg sandwiches will be available for breakfast!

This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the local community, enjoy a memorable evening, and make a difference for a cause that touches so many lives.
