Mama Connect Walk'n'Talk Canberra

• Are you expecting a baby and/or have a young child?
• Would you like an easy way to meet and connect with other women like you?
• Would you like a safe space to chat about what it means to become and be a mum (beyond the birth and parenting tips)?

Then join us for a casual walk and gathering at various lakes around Canberra!

Come along to:

• Meet a few other mums as you get some fresh air and gentle exercise
• Connect with people who've been through it already (or are going through it like you)
• Ask questions and talk about your experiences without fear of judgement or unwarranted advice
• Make the journey a little easier for other mums/ mums-to-be

We'll spend about 45 minutes walking (at your own pace) and then come together for a cuppa, snack and chat at the end.

Babies and children welcome AND if you can make this time for yourself and leave the kids at home, that's also encouraged :)

We'll rotate between 4 locations:

• Lake Burley Griffin, Parkes
• Lake Gininderra, Belconnen
• Yerrabi Pond, Gungahlin
• Lake Tuggeranong, Greenway

Nicole Deen is the Co-Founder and Director of Mama Connect and a passionate advocate for mothers in all our diversity. Nicole became mum to one delightful daughter in 2015 and has called Canberra home since 2019. She's a skilled facilitator and coach, with certifications in both Life Coaching for mothers and Executive Coaching through the Mama Rising© Facilitator Training and the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership. With a background in international and community development, she's always focused on meeting people where they’re at in life and accompanying them on where they want to go. She's excited to now bring her varied life experiences and passion into directly supporting mothers as they make one of the most (if not THE most) biggest transformations of their lives.
