MAMMA MIA!
Event description
MAMMA MIA! is set in a taverna on a beautiful Greek Island in the 1990s. It centres on the story of Sophie, who is about to marry Sky, and who dreams of her father walking her down the aisle at her perfect romantic wedding. The trouble is, Sophie doesn't know who her father is, and as the story unfolds, it turns out that it could have been any one of three men....Â
Will Sophie find her father? Will she marry Sky? Will Sophie's mother Donna, and her two friends reform their girlband? Will the pearl necklace be found? And what of the three potential fathers?  The story unfolds against a background of constant partying by young guests at the taverna, to a wonderful soundtrack of ABBA music. Â
Once again an amazingly talented cast of top singers, dancers and musicians from Hamilton Girls' and Boys' High Schools have combined to bring this wonderful musical to life. The energy, vibrance and enthusiasm of youth, and ABBA's much loved music are just what's needed to brighten your midwinter. Â
Please note: There are two casts for this production of MAMMA MIA!
