Man vs Shelf

Matthew Mckew suffered a head injury 5 years ago and his recovery through stand up comedy has been described as a "tour de force" by One4Review and 'comedy gold" by the Isle of Wight County Press. The show explores the build up to and aftermath of a serious concussion that effectively ended Matthew's journalism career. Packed with off the cuff "hilarious" (Canterbury Courier) crowd work with his "cheeky chappy" persona (Youngish Perspective, Edinburgh), Matthew delivers an upbeat reflection on all that has changed for him - including his opinion on cats.
