    Managers and team leaders in the music industry, you’re invited to join us for a free and online Wellbeing Check-In session.

    The Managers Wellbeing Check-In is designed to support managers and team leaders to cultivate a supportive, engaged and productive work environment. We’ll explore the mental health and wellbeing issues that impact music workers and explore how to foster a mentally healthy workplace. The session will outline an organisations’ obligation to reasonably ensure workplace roles, environments and relationships are optimised, to support workers safety and ongoing psychosocial wellbeing.

    What to expect from a session:

    - Recognise how mental health/wellbeing exists on a spectrum, and why working in music can be uniquely challenging for people’s mental health.
    - Identify the three domains where psychosocial hazards in the workplace can manifest.
    - Recognise the signs that might indicate a person is struggling with mental health issues, and how to ask questions and listen to one another with empathy and support.
    - Identify risk factors for workplace stress, which can contribute to both physical and psychological ill health.
    - Recognise eight action areas in which managers/team leaders can individually contribute to fostering a mentally healthy workplace.


    A mentally healthy workplace creates more engaged and productive team members, helping you attract and keep great staff.
