After the popularity and success of the recently held NSW Public Service Commission (PSC) Disability at Work forums, we created the Managing in the Age of Inclusion webinar series. 

The series will continue in sharing resources, practical advice and offer diverse perspectives on disability employment for all managers, hiring Managers, recruiters, and aspiring managers across NSW government.

Hosted by Gail Le Bransky, Director, Disability Employment, at the NSW Public Service Commission, you will hear from a range of experts on all matters relating to disability employment in the public sector, including presenters from peak disability organisations.

Webinar 1: Managing and Recruiting in the Age of Inclusion 

This webinar is focuses on recruitment and the candidate experience of people with disability joining the public sector.

Session overview:

  • Gail Le Bransky will provide an overview of the NSW Premiers Priority, how we can be a world class public service, and take you through the newly released Hiring Managers Toolkit.
  • Tessa Pittenridgh, who is leading the Recruiting Right Program in the PSC will discuss how to recruit for people with different abilities. 
  • Adele Tashkin and Ben Alexander from the Council for Intellectual Disability (CID) will share information on their More Than Just a Job program.
