There can be many unexpected hurdles on the journey of parenthood, and one of them can be postnatal depression and/or anxiety. Depression and anxiety after birth can affect anyone, regardless of whether it's your 1st baby or not. Postnatal depression and anxiety can be distressing, and can stop you from enjoying and bonding with your baby. You are definitely not alone in this experience. This talk will provide information on what postnatal depression and anxiety are, and what you or your partner can do to move beyond this experience.
