One of the most important relationships in your HDR journey is the one with your supervisor. How do you build a strong, healthy relationship that best supports you to be successful, in your research project and in your future career?
There's no one right kind of supervisor-supervisee relationship, but in this session we'll help you learn how to:
- understand what kind of supervisory practices you need
- be an active participant in the supervisor relationship
- manage supervisor demands and expectations
- establish clear mutual expectations and good communication from the beginning
You'll hear from experienced supervisors about how they approach their relationships with supervisees, and you'll have the opportunity to ask questions.
