Mānava Breathwork & Cacao
Event description
Our last big breath of the year.
Talofa friends and family, welcome to our community.
As the year comes to a close, we invite you to press pause and slow down (both the body and the mind) before the silly season sets in. This is an opportunity to reflect, reset and release, creating space for new energy to flow in.
Our spaces are created with intention, beautifully designed to welcome, support and hold you on your journey within, using your breath as medicine.
THE MĀNAVA STORY & MISSION
MĀNAVA is the Samoan word for breath. Being of Samoan descent, we incorporate not only the samoan culture, but also the warmth of other pacific cultures in the spaces we create. Our mission is to empower others by passing on tools and rituals that allow you to unlock the greatest version of yourself.
MEET YOUR FACILITATORS:
We are Daniel and Lauren, a devoted couple passionate about creating spaces of healing and connection. With a shared commitment to service and self-discovery, we have spent years cultivating various healing modalities that support growth and transformation. Having navigated our own personal challenges, we understand the importance of community, compassion, and support. It is our honour to share these tools and spaces with you.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Cacao Ceremony- a heart-opening circle that invites warmth, connection, and presence. Here we take a moment to arrive fully and ground into the space. This ancient ritual helps quiet the mind and open the heart, supporting you to drop deeper into your body.
Guided Breathwork Journey - Backed by science, you will be guided through a conscious connected breathing style that allows you to access deeper layers of consciousness, helping you to reconnect with whats real and alive within.
Supported by sound, facilitation, and culture this is your chance to fully feel, express, and be with yourself as you are.
Integration & Reflection - A space to land, share, and honour what comes up.
The combination of breathwork and ceremonial cacao facilitates a whole body experience removing you from your thinking mind and connecting you deeper into your heart, intuition and body’s wisdom.
WHAT IS CACAO?
Cacao is an ancient medicinal plant, rich in minerals, known for its dense nutritional content and has been shown to aid the production of serotonin (the “feel good” hormone).
Cacao grows on the Theobroma tree, translated in greek to "food of the gods".
We use this medicine to take us out of our minds and connect us deeper to our heart.
