The Mens Workshop – A Transformative One Day Event
Event description
Talofa + Bula brothers,
ARE YOU READY TO SHOW UP MORE FULLY IN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS, CAREERS, OR AS FATHERS, SONS, BROTHERS?
ARE YOU READY TO RECLAIM YOUR PLACE AS THE LEADER OF YOUR OWN LIFE?
This one-day powerful workshop is designed to support men in reconnecting with themselves beyond the roles, the pressure, and the weight of the expectation we carry daily.
THIS IS FOR MEN WHO:
Want to show up more fully—in their relationships, careers, or as fathers, sons, and brothers
Feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected
Want to level up, challenge themselves and do the work alongside other men who understand what you are experiencing
Want to break the cycle, start moving differently and let go of what is holding them back
Want to release what they have been carrying for far too long
EVENT DISCRIPTION:
So many of us have never been taught how to express emotion, process pain, or speak openly without fear of being judged.
We were never taught how to feel. Only how to hide it.
We’ve been taught to be strong, but never shown how to be supported.
To provide, but not to express.
To push through, but not to pause.
All while carrying shame, anger and self doubt.
But that's outdated and holding us back from stepping forward and becoming the best man you know you can be.
This workshop shows you there is another way.
This is a space for men to reclaim their power, to breathe, to laugh, to be challenged, and to feel safe enough to let go of what you've been holding in for far too long.
A journey to reconnect to the man behind the armour, mask and silence, alongside other men who understand what you are experiencing.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Movement & challenge-based practices to tap into your fire and release tension
Team-building exercises to build connection and brotherhood
Breathwork to shift the weight you’ve been carrying, without needing the perfect words
Tools to help you manage stress, anger, and disconnection in your everyday life
Guided processes to help you work through shame, anger, grief, and self-doubt
A safe, judgment-free space to express what’s real without expectation
The opportunity to reflect, reset, and reclaim your power
Whether you’re just starting or continuing your journey, this experience is a powerful reset and catalyst for change.

MEET YOUR FACILITATOR:
My name is Daniel Gaitau, the founder of Mānava and The Locker Room Barbershop, dedicated to men's mental health. Being of Samoan descent, raised in both the samoan and Fijian cultures, I birthed Mānava to empower others in navigating their own personal story.
While navigating the darkest time in my life, I placed myself in spaces where I learned tools and modalities that changed my life. From that moment I knew these were too powerful to keep to myself and embarked on a journey to learn from the best in the country in-order to share them back to my community.
The spaces we create at Mānava are a combination of powerful tools and modalities that played a huge role in my story, allowing me to make a u-turn in my life which my family thank me for each day.
PREPARATION:
Please prioritise a full night's sleep before and eat a light meal in the morning to maintain a light body. You will need to bring a light lunch or snacks to stay fuelled however not to feel heavy or full.
