This joyful weekly playgroup is specially designed for Mandarin-speaking families with children aged 0–5 who already speak Mandarin at home. Whether you're a parent or grandparent, this group offers a warm, supportive space for your child to strengthen their Mandarin language skills, connect with others, and celebrate cultural identity.

Led by Jessica, a qualified Mandarin teacher and linguistic specialist, the sessions are interactive, play-based, and focused on language development through fun, social engagement.

What to Expect Each Week:

🗣️ Mandarin-Rich Learning Through Play
Children engage in storytelling, songs, movement, and structured play—entirely in Mandarin—to help build confidence and fluency in a natural, immersive environment.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent & Grandparent Friendly
This is a multigenerational, family-inclusive group—perfect for both parents and grandparents to attend with their children or grandchildren and bond with others in the community.

🌱 Cultural Connection & Confidence
The playgroup nurtures a strong sense of identity and belonging for Mandarin-speaking families, promoting language pride and cultural understanding in early childhood.

☕ Social Time in a Welcoming Environment
Enjoy relaxed, informal time to chat with other families while your child explores and plays. Tea and coffee available for adults, with toys and activities for children.

Who Runs the Sessions?

Your facilitator, Jessica, is a fluent Mandarin and English speaker with qualifications in language education and linguistics. She brings warmth, creativity, and deep knowledge of bilingual language development to every session.
