BIJF 2026: Mango Jam x Hilz Presents 'Riverside Jazz'

Fresh from their performance at Woodford Folk Festival, Mango Jam Big Band are proud to make their debut appearance at the Brisbane International Jazz Festival. 

A fixture of the Brisbane jazz scene for nearly 15 years, Mango Jam are a big band built different. Taking the power of the classic big band format and injecting it with a modern groove and an endless appetite to stand out from the pack, the ensemble continues to demonstrate its capacity to entertain and edify in equal measure.

Presenting a thrilling repertoire that defies easy categorisation, the band will be joined onstage by one of Brisbane's most exciting and talented voices - the incredible powerhouse Hilz.

With a dynamite rhythm section, some of the most incendiary horns in the game, and under the stern but benevolent leadership of musical director Allister Harrison, this wonderful afternoon at Officers Mess New Farm offers something for music-lovers everywhere.
