Event description

Join artist Gai Southwell of Manhuti WalkAbout Weaving for two special weaving workshops, hosted within the calming and inspiring space of her solo exhibition, Sharing Time and Space.

These hands-on sessions are an opportunity to connect with traditional weaving techniques, slow down, and create something truly personal.

🧶 Workshop 1: Woven Earrings & Bangles

Friday, May 30
Create your own unique woven earrings and bangles with guidance from Gai. You’ll learn traditional fibre techniques and walk away with your own beautiful, handmade jewellery.

🎁 Everyone will take home a finished piece from each session.

Both workshops are held in the exhibition space of Sharing Time and Space — a stunning body of work reflecting Gai’s travels across NSW and Queensland, capturing the textures, colours, and stories of Country through weaving, jewellery, and photography.
