Event description

A monthly group for Parents and Carers with their Very Young Child (children pre birth to toddling) where we will weave a mantle of care around ourselves and our children through singing, lap games and developmental play. Each month we will be introduced to and experience another mantle of care to add to our family health care "backpack" or basket that will meet the changing needs of our children, ourselves and the seasons.

The inspiration for this group draws from the work of Rudolf Steiner and his health and development indications for Carers and their young children.

With the enfolding, holding and harmonising of these mantles, our souls are fed through joy, laughter and happiness, enlivened with our sense of wellbeing and surety, and encouraged to uprightness and good health. They provide a firm basis for our children's wellbeing and learning.

You will leave nourished and with activities and resources that you may find useful to include in your family rhythms and daily life over the following month.

You are welcome to book a followup home visit during the month which can as well be held online if needed, where activities from the group and particular questions can be worked with together in the space of your own home.

We will meet together from 10.30am– 12.00noon in Castlecrag on the second Monday or on Zoom during Covid lockdown periods at 7.45pm for 8.00pm start - 9.00pm

You may join a Monday group .

All activities and morning tea are included in the fee of $40.
