MAPW dinner and GUEST LECTURE
Event description
The MAPW (SA) State Committee are delighted to welcome members and friends to our annual dinner and guest lecture.
We are very pleased to welcome back Dr Daniel Fazio, Lecturer in History and Politics, UniSA Justice and Society, University of South Australia.
Dr Fazio delivered a very well-received lecture to MAPW in June 2023 on 'Averting Global Conflict: the Lessons of History'. This year the title of his talk will be: 'China-Taiwan tensions: implications for the Asia-Pacific region', a subject that we were very keen to explore in the light of the current political situation.
The price of the ticket includes a welcome drink and a selection of light snacks. However, the bar and restaurant are happy to take individual orders if more substantial fare is preferred, and these will be at your own expense.
Please feel free to invite friends and colleagues whom you think might be interested to learn more about this subject from someone whose academic experience could not be better designed to address this extremely important and topical issue.
