Join bassist and vocalist Mara Mae in a sneak peak performance of her upcoming LP, with cellist Rose Chaffey and drummer Joel Wybrew.

With a diverse performance and academic background in pop, folk, jazz, bossa nova, and classical traditions, her music is informed by anything and everything. She’s passionate about finding new ways to flavour her songwriting and incorporate different influences to tell a story.

This new body of work is cosy, intimate, and sentimental, with unexpected compositional techniques and a particular focus on pairing bass and cello.

A lifelong songwriter, Mara Mae loves breathing life into composition through poetic and relatable lyrics paired with memorable melodies and music written to serve the narrative of the song.
