MARAM Collaborative Practice Training - 22 & 29 February 2024
Event description
The Centre for Non-Violence (CNV) delivers MARAM Collaborative Practice training sessions to all prescribed organisations in the Loddon region. The MARAM Collaborative Practice training focuses on both collaborative practice and foundational aspects of MARAM that enable collaboration. Training provides:
• A greater understanding of the MARAM framework
• Ability to identify what collaborative practice is
• How to use collaborative practice in your daily work
Training is funded by Family Safety Victoria to support organisations and practitioners to implement the MARAM Framework and enables participants to contribute to risk assessment and collaborate for ongoing risk management, through respectful and sensitive engagement with victim survivors, information sharing, referral, and secondary consultation.
Please note: You will need a computer, microphone and webcam to participate in this training. FSV requires records of attendance so they can follow up with agencies if required.
Before attending MARAM Collaborative Practice training all participants are required to:
- Have prior experience or training in Family Violence and/or MARAM
- Review the MARAM Foundation Knowledge Guide which is for all practitioners who use the MARAM Framework
MARAM Collaborative Practice is not risk assessment training, it delivers on the development of ‘multi-agency’ collaboration for the family violence sector. You can find more information about the work CNV do through our website https://www.cnv.org.au/
